On July 9, 2009, the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and the Panama City Police Department conducted an undercover operation that resulted in the arrest of Darrin Carmichael, DOB 12/2/86, of 159 Manistee Drive, Panama City Beach.

At the time of his arrest he was found to be in possession of an assortment of drugs. Carmichael had marijuana and opiates, including enough of the highly addictive pain killer Oxycodone to warrant a Trafficking charge. Carmichael also had about five thousand US dollars in his possession.

Carmichael was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Using a two-way device to Facilitate a Felony, Possession of a Narcotic with Intent to Sell, and Violation of Probation on a conviction of Burglary and Grand Theft. Carmichael was taken to the Bay County Jail.
