CHIPLEY Firefighters and EMS responded to a house fire at 462 Martin Luther King Blvd. Tuesday morning in Chipley. The fire damaged a back room of the residence and the attic was full of smoke when firefighters arrived.


Chipley firefighters, EMS and police responded to a house fire Tuesday morning at 462 Martin Luther King Blvd. The house, occupied by a family of nine, sustained major damage. No injuries reported. Red Cross Disaster Action Team members from the Central Panhandle Chapter responded Wednesday to assist victims with financial assistance for temporary lodging, clothes and food.
