The Bulldogs started off aggressively, but even with the majority of their team down recovering for the big game this Friday the Blue Devils held the Bulldogs back till Bulldog #13, Herman Williams, managed to break through at the goal line for a touchdown with 8:23 left in the first quarter and with a good kick from Bulldog #27, J. T. Meadows, the score was 7-0.



Bulldog #8, Derrick Knowles, slipped past the Blue Devils for a 55-yard touchdown with 5:33 left in the first quarter and with a good kick from Meadows the score was 14-0.



The Blue Devils recovered some steam and managed to hold the Bulldogs until Bulldog Williams made a pass to Bulldog #35, Latterian Pittman, for a 35-yard touchdown with 8:56 left in the first half and with a good kick from Meadows, the score was 21-0.



Blue Devil #24, Chad Leavins, put up quite a fight, surprising the Bulldogs by breaking through their defense twice for a 40-yard and then a 15-yard run.



The Bulldogs quickly retaliated as Bulldog #22, Quayshon Johnson, ran a 75-yard touchdown with 6:30 left in the first quarter and with a good kick from Meadows the score was 28-0.



The Blue Devils responded by holding the Bulldogs back for the majority of the third quarter until Bulldog #23 broke through at the goal line for a touchdown with 1:02 left in the third quarter and with a good kick from Meadows the score was 35-0.



This would be the last time the Bulldogs scored for the game as the Blue Devils held them for the remainder of the game.



The Holmes County Blue Devils will host the Blounstown Tigers in a Regional Game at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 at Memorial Field in Bonifay.



Because it is a Regional game admission is $8 instead of $5 and no passes are being accepted except State series passes.



The Blue Devils won the 3-1A title Friday, Nov. 2 when they defeated the Chipley Tigers 38-16.
