After a two-hour search Washington County Sheriff’s Office found 5-year-old Glenn Andrew Charleston Raffield Jr. was found in woods near his home yesterday.


CHIPLEY — After a two-hour search Washington County Sheriff’s Office found 5-year-old Glenn Andrew Charleston Raffield Jr. was found in woods near his home yesterday.



According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Press Release the sheriff’s office received call at 2:41p.m. yesterday, reporting that Raffield Jr. was last seen at his home on Rolling Pines Road an hour before the authorities were called and that he left on foot wearing a Thunderdog costume.



Immediately A Child is Missing was contacted, calls were made alerting 1,120 residences and businesses within an 89 square mile radius, giving them information about the child, according to the Press Release.



The Washington County CART team, North Florida Reception Center k-9 Team and Bay County Sheriff’s Office Air 1 was activated for the search and at 4:42 p.m. a deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office spotted the child in the woods and was returned home without any injuries, according to the Press Release.
