The Washington County Drug Task Force, consisting of Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Chipley Police Department, reported the arrest of six people on Jan. 27 following an extensive narcotics investigation spanning several months.


CHIPLEY — The Washington County Drug Task Force, consisting of Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Chipley Police Department, reported the arrest of six people on Jan. 27 following an extensive narcotics investigation spanning several months.



Arrested were Donald Eugene Skipper, 45, of Chipley; Dustin Royce Brown, 32, of Holmes County; Kendra Elise Dumas, 26, of Holmes County; Billy Joe Alvarado, 36, of Slocomb, Ala.; Dana Louise Castro, 39, of Slocomb, Ala.; and Ronald Keith Barrow, 53, Washington County.



According to the report the WCDTF executed a search warrant on Rattlebox Road in Chipley and all suspects were apprehended at the residence. 



During a search of the property, 18.5 grams of methamphetamines (ICE) were found packaged and ready for sell and a handgun was found in close proximity to the narcotics, according to the report. 



Skipper and Brown are being charged with trafficking in methamphetamines, possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute, possession of controlled substance without prescription, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of narcotic equipment and violation of state probation.



Dumas is being charged with trafficking in methamphetamines, possession of methamphetamines with intent to distribute, possession of controlled substance without prescription, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of narcotic equipment.



Alvarado, Castro and Barrow are being charged with possession of narcotic equipment.



According to the report the investigation is ongoing at this time and additional charges and arrests are pending.



WCDTF executed a search warrant in December of 2012 at the same residence on Rattlebox Road where Donald Skipper was charged and taken into custody following the search, according to the report. Skipper was sentenced on September 19, 2013 to seven years probation with the State of Florida Department of Corrections.
