During the reorganization of the members of the Holmes County District School Board on Nov. 19 it was approved that Board member Rusty Williams will remain as chair and Board member Jason Motley will remain co-chair.


BONIFAY — During the reorganization of the members of the Holmes County District School Board on Nov. 19 it was approved that Board member Rusty Williams will remain as chair and Board member Jason Motley will remain co-chair.



Board also approved of holding a workshop at 5 p.m. before every evening meeting; 2014-2015 School Calendar; out of county/state students; overnight/out of state strips for Holmes County High School and Ponce de Leon High Schools’ Beta Clubs to attend the Academic Competitions/Talent and Art Competitions on Jan. 17, 18 and 19 in Orlando, Poplar Springs High School’s Jr. Beta Club to attend State Convention on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2 and 3 in Orlando and Poplar Springs High School’s Language Arts/Drama to attend Follow-up Activity from Reading the Book “Catching Fire” on Dec. 13 in Dothan, Ala.



The next scheduled meeting of the Holmes County District School Board is set for 9 a.m. on Dec. 3.
