The University of Florida IFAS Extension Agency will be providing an Advanced Pressure Canning Class from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Wausau Town Hall located at 1607 2nd Avenue in Wausau.


WAUSAU — The University of Florida IFAS Extension Agency will be providing an Advanced Pressure Canning Class from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Wausau Town Hall located at 1607 2nd Avenue in Wausau.



“Now that you have learned the basics of pressure canning, join us for an interactive discussion of commercial vs. home processing techniques,” said Judy Corbus, Extension Agent with Family and Consumer Sciences. “Why are some things canned commercially that cannot be done at home? Be sure to bring your pressure canning questions.”



Registration fee is $5 and includes class materials.  Space is limited.  Pre-registration is required by contacting the Washington County Extension Office at 850-638-6265 or the Holmes County Extension Office at 850-547-1108.
