Holmes County’s University of Florida’s IFAS Extension will be providing a class on cooking with preserved foods and how to build a basic pantry from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Holmes County Ag Center.


BONIFAY — Holmes County’s University of Florida’s IFAS Extension will be providing a class on cooking with preserved foods and how to build a basic pantry from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Holmes County Agricultural Center located at 1173 East State Road 90 in Bonifay.



They are inviting the public to learn ways to use preserved foods in everyday meals and how to set up a basic, well-equipped pantry.



Registration fee is $5 and includes class materials and due to limited space they are requiring pre-registration by contacting the Holmes County Extension Office at 547-1108, or the Washington County Extension Office at 638-6265.
