CHIPLEY — Fall Into History Festival kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Farmers Market in historic downtown Chipley.
A scary scarecrow directs traffic downtown Chipley on Thursday, in preparation for Saturday’s Fall Into History Festival. The annual festival begins at 9 a.m. at the Farmers Market and continues until 3 p.m. Fall Into History is part of the statewide celebration, Viva Florida 500, and is sponsored by the Washington County Historical Society.
In conjunction with the annual Fall Into History Festival, the Chipley Garden Club is hosting its third annual Scarecrow Contest today at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Chipley. There will be prizes awarded for favorite scarecrows, along with People’s Choice and Garden Club Special Awards. The scarecrow contest concludes at 3 p.m.
