The University of Florida’s IFAS Extension will be offering a money basics course entitled Women and Money: Unique Issues Series from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, 8, and 15.
BONIFAY — The University of Florida’s IFAS Extension will be offering a money basics course entitled Women and Money: Unique Issues Series from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, 8, and 15 at the Holmes County Ag Center located at 1173 E. Hwy. 90 in Bonifay, and the Jackson County Extension Service Conference Center located at 2741 Pennsylvania Avenue in Marianna.
The 3-part series costs $20 per person, which includes materials and light refreshments for each session.
The classes will cover the following topics:
Money Basics: Getting organized, financial goal setting, and a spending plan will help you keep your finger on your financial pulse.
Protecting Assets: Learning about insurance, identity theft, scams, fraud, and credit management will help you identify, evaluate, and develop a plan to protect your assets.
Investing Basics: Learning how to manage your money and how to invest will likely help your money grow.
Estate Planning: Developing an estate plan helps ensure your wishes are carried out.
