When a reporter asked the Apollo 16 Astronaut Mr. Charlie Duke (The 10th man to walk on the moon), how much money the United States had spent on the Moon Landing Project, his answer was: “Not a dime.”

“How so?” asked the reporter.

“Because all the equipment, the rockets, the fuel, the aluminum, titanium, Stanley steel, the labor (more than 14,000 workers), the tools, the electronics, etc. was back then all made in the U.S.A. Then not one dollar left out country.”

That’s why the United States was the richest country in the world. Not because I say so, but because Mr. Charlie Duke, the astronaut said so.
